About Me

Keiko Schulze

 

I grew up in Kanagawa, Japan and began learning music from the age of 3 and piano from the age of 4. As a young child I enjoyed performing and writing compositions and appeared in many public concerts and competitions as a soloist in the Yokohama and Tokyo area. I have been teaching piano since 2001 and received my Bachelors of Arts in Piano Performance from Okinawa Prefectural Art University in 2004. From 2005 to 2010 I taught music and piano to students at Yamaha Music School where many of my students regularly competed and were very successful throughout the area. I moved to the United States in 2011. Here I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping people grow in their love and enjoyment of music.

沖縄県立芸術大学音楽学科器楽専攻ピアノコース卒業。
2005年3月21日　沖縄県立芸術大学　奏楽堂
奏楽堂演奏会「バリ島のガムラン音楽とその西洋への展開」に出演。
卒業後はヤマハ音楽教室システム講師として稼動し、幼児リトミック　　　　クラス からグループレッスン、ピアノ・エレクトーン個人レッスンを行う。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
大学在学中よりピアノ指導を開始し、現在ピアノ指導歴10年目。
これまでにピアノを佐久間龍也・浜尾夕美・錦戸糸子、伴奏法を

東江貴子　森島英子　声楽を小波津 美奈子　各氏に師事。
